    Ingredients:

    Directions:

      Rinse rice. Soak it in water to cover for at least 1 hr and up to 24.
    2. 2
      Drain, then wrap in cheesecloth. Put in a steamer above boiling water. Steam for about 30 minutes until tender.

      Toss cooked rice with coconut milk and nam pla. Rewrap and steam (or microwave) for 5 more minutes to reheat.

      I enjoyed the rice with coconut milk. I used another recipe and actually steamed the rice in corn husks. Thanks! Made for ZWT 2013 for team Hot Stuff.

      Very good, I did nuke it for 7 minutes. Had this with Goan Beef Curry and Mango Lassi Yogurt Pops for an Indian menu. Made for ZWT 6. Thanks you Debbie for sharing.

      This was a little involved for sticky rice but placed along side left over Spicy Thai-Style Chicken, it was delicious. The wrapping in cheesecloth was a little difficult for me because of the heat and I was very hesitant to wrap it after mixing in the coconut milk and fish sauce, but wanted to follow the recipe directions. I didn't care for the coconut milk in the rice by itself, but mixed with other Asian flavors it was great. Thanks for sharing Debbie. Made for ZWT 6 :)
